Dr. Jim Hamilton, Optometrist
Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Hamilton headed south after completing high school and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. He then spent the next four years attending Southern California College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree (1993). In 1999, he joined Dr. Craig Wallace and the Plains Optical team. In 2000, Dr. Wallace turned the practice over to Dr. Hamilton, where he has been since. Dr. Hamilton is a past president of the South Plains Optometric Society, and is an active member of the Texas and American Optometric Associations. Dr. Hamilton loves this area and has decided this is the best place for his practice and business. Dr. Hamilton and his wife, Cindy, have four children.
